News Central TV Partners with Ministry of Aviation to Propel Nigeria’s Aviation Growth

In a significant step towards enhancing public engagement and boosting national development through strategic media collaboration, News Central Television has announced a partnership with the Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development. The partnership aims to spotlight the aviation sector’s vital role in Nigeria’s economic and infrastructural advancement.

The announcement follows a courtesy visit by News Central’s Director of Commercial and Communications, Mrs Rosemary Egabor-Afolahan, to the Honourable Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, SAN, in Abuja. The meeting served as a platform to explore areas of synergy between media and aviation, particularly in promoting transparency, reforms, and development within the sector.

In a statement released after the meeting, Mrs Egabor-Afolahan described the initiative as the beginning of a strategic partnership designed to enhance public awareness of aviation milestones and Nigeria’s regional competitiveness.

“The courtesy visit marks the beginning of a potential partnership aimed at increasing public awareness of aviation development while promoting positive narratives around Nigeria’s infrastructure progress and regional competitiveness,” the statement read.

Minister Keyamo, known for his forthright stance on development and reform, praised News Central TV for its editorial boldness and commitment to development-oriented journalism. He highlighted the media’s essential role in informing the public, fostering transparency, and driving stakeholder participation in the aviation sector.

“He underscored the crucial role media partnerships play in fostering transparency, keeping the public informed, and encouraging stakeholder engagement in aviation reforms,” Egabor-Afolahan added.

News Central reinforced this sentiment via social media, stating:

“In a bid to enhance collaboration and drive positive change, our Director of Commercial and Communications, @reaspeaks1, paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, @festuskeyamo70, reinforcing the vital connection between media and Nigeria’s aviation industry.”
