On Thursday, June 27, 2024, the National Chairman of the Urhobo Oil and Gas Nationality (UROAGAN), Chief Dr. Obiuwevbi Ominimini, presented a report to Urhobo legislators in the National Assembly, detailing the compilation of Urhobo oil and gas facilities. In response, Mr. Edema Collins Oritsetimeyin (ECO), the Sole Representative of the Olu of Warri/Liaison to NNPCL said, "while every Nigerian citizen has the right to freedom of speech, we feel compelled to address the numerous inaccuracies and exaggerated claims made during this presentation, particularly as the information is now being widely shared across social media platforms".   In a heartfelt open letter, the concerned stakeholders of Warri South, representing 40 communities, have reached out to the Governor of Delta State, commending his successful implementation of the MORE Agenda initiative. This initiative, which focuses on creating mass employment opportunities, particularly for the youth, has been notably impactful in Warri South. However, the letter also brings to light serious allegations of fraud and misconduct within the Warri South Local Government Education Area (LEA).
