    The suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, has received a warm welcome from family and friends after his release on Friday from the Kuje Custodial Centre, where he has spent 27 months in detention.   In a video and pictures circulating on social media on Saturday, Kyari was seen in the company of his family members.   There were also balloon decorations in a house with a design that read, "Welcome Back." PUNCH reports that Kyari was detained following his arrest on February 14, 2022, by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency for alleged involvement with an international drug cartel.   More info coming soon.   Credit: Punch
