Office of the Sole Representative of the Olu of Warri Partners with Coral Global Care Foundation to Sponsor Over 100 Students in Warri
Warri, Delta State – In the early hours of yesterday, November 25, 2024, the Office of the Sole Representative of the Olu of Warri/Liaison to NNPC, in collaboration with Coral Global Care Foundation, began a significant initiative to uplift education standards in Warri and its environs.
The partnership saw a visit to 10 secondary schools in Warri as part of a commitment made during a career seminar organized by Coral Global Care Foundation on October 24, 2024. At the seminar, the foundation promised to sponsor the enrollment of over 100 SS3 students preparing for their final examinations.
This initiative, which aligns with a broader vision to support the education of the Warri Child, is being implemented as a four-day school tour. Beyond facilitating enrollments, the tour also aims to sensitize schools on the upcoming Quiz and Debate Competition scheduled for January to June 2025.
On Day 1, Mr. Coker Toyo, Executive Secretary of the foundation, represented the founder, Mr. Collins Edema, alongside foundation members. They visited Wingate Model College, Benchill Schools, Eagle Might International Schools, Cambridge International School, Dom Domingos, Demonstration Secondary School, Montessori International, Ugborikoko Secondary School, Elevado, Hussey College, and Delta Career Secondary School.
The enrollment process continues today, bringing hope and opportunities to many students as the foundation remains committed to enhancing educational opportunities in Warri.
The collaboration between the Olu of Warri’s representative and Coral Global Care Foundation underscores the power of partnerships in shaping the future of communities through education.
