Governor Adeleke Approves ₦75,000 Minimum Wage for Osun State Civil Servants
Osogbo – In a landmark move, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has announced the approval of ₦75,000 as the new minimum wage for civil servants in the state. The announcement, made via the Governor's official X (formerly Twitter) handle, underscores his administration’s commitment to social justice, economic growth, and improved living standards for workers and citizens.
Governor Adeleke expressed his gratitude to the negotiation committee, led by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Kazeem Akinleye, and the leaders of the State Labour Union, for their swift and dedicated efforts in reaching an agreement.
“I urge all civil servants in the state to enhance their service delivery by continuously seeking innovative solutions to improve public service, ensuring transparency and accountability for the growth and development of the 33-year-old Osun State,” Adeleke said in the announcement.
